PERSONAL:

I grew up in Harrison Township on the Clinton River.  There were 7 kids in my family - 4 brothers and 2 sisters.  My siblings now live in other states that include Colorado, Wyoming, and Florida.  It has eliminated the possibility for daily visits, but makes it easy in deciding on vacation destinations.  I own a home in Rochester Hills. 

My wedding was August 28th, 2010, so life has been filled with wonderful changes lately.  I am so blessed to be with Melissa!  Thank you, God, for such an incredible woman!

I am very active with Kensington Church in Troy.  I attend both the Troy and Rochester Hills Campuses.  I’m involved with several of their ministries. The most exciting and entertaining ministry I am passionate about is the Performing Arts Ministry.  I am an actor for the Drama Team, where we perform live skits and dramas as well as video productions for the weekend services and special events. I’ve had the pleasure of performing since 2007.

I personally participate in and lead a Men’s Small Group. Since 2003, I have participated in curriculum studies and accountability groups that encourage Spiritual Growth, as well as Character Development. Small Groups have played a significant role in my life where I’ve experienced the most life-change.

PROFESSIONAL:

Clayton graduated from  Michigan Technological University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance and a Minor in Communications.  He completed a Certificate of International Business, (language in French). He is Licensed with the Series 7 (General Securities Registered Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law).

Clayton has completed the education courses to obtaining the credential of a CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and will complete the final comprehensive exam in the near future.  Upon completion of the CFP, Clayton plans on obtaining the ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), and a Masters Degree in Finance.

VALUE TO WIKLUND & BOND FINANCIAL SERVICES:

Clayton brings many talents to the table and has grown with the Wiklund & Bond Financial Services organization. He enjoys working in the Group Benefits Planning (Health Insurance, 401K’s, Buy-Sell Insurance) as well as the Personal Planning environment (IRA’s, Mutual Funds, & Life Insurance).  Clayton's experience in portfolio analysis & allocation has been key to the organization.  

TRIVIA ITEMS ABOUT CLAYTON:

Clayton has helped coach Wrestling at two high schools (Denver West H.S. & Rochester H.S.) and a youth program (ROC Wrestling Club).  Clayton was also a Soldier serving in the United States Army Reserves and R.O.T.C. at MTU.  His occupations were serving as a Counter-Intelligence Analyst (97G) and also servings as a Finance Detachment Executive Officer in Taegu, South Korea.
